Bondi Fires Staffer Accused Of Making Gestures To DC Guardsman

Attorney General Pam Bondi is sending a clear message to the Department of Justice: if you disrespect the men and women in uniform or sabotage the mission of the Trump administration, you’re gone.

On Friday, Bondi announced the termination of Elizabeth Baxter, a DOJ staffer who was caught on camera flipping off National Guard troops and shouting “f*** off” at them in Washington, D.C.

The incident wasn’t a one-off lapse in judgment. According to The New York Post, Baxter actually bragged about her vulgar behavior to a DOJ security guard on multiple occasions. On August 18, she described flipping off a Guardsman at the Metro Center stop. A week later, she repeated her contempt for the troops in another conversation with the same guard. That was all Bondi needed to act.

“Today, I took action to terminate a DOJ employee for inappropriate conduct towards National Guard service members in DC,” Bondi wrote on X. “If you oppose our mission and disrespect law enforcement — you will NO LONGER work at DOJ.”

The firing follows a similar episode earlier this month involving another DOJ employee, Sean Charles Dunn, who worked in the same 4CON building as Baxter.

Dunn was caught on video berating federal officers, calling them “fascists,” and hurling a Subway sandwich at a Customs and Border Patrol officer before attempting to run away. He was quickly fired, with Bondi denouncing him as part of the “Deep State” undermining DOJ’s credibility.

A grand jury declined to hit Dunn with a felony assault charge over the sandwich toss, but federal prosecutors have since refiled misdemeanor charges. Bondi, for her part, left no doubt that his employment was over. “You will NOT work in this administration while disrespecting our government and law enforcement,” she declared earlier this month.
