DNC Holds Winter Meeting In Maryland

Well, folks, here we are—another day, another sign that the Democratic Party has completely abandoned any semblance of tradition, faith, or, frankly, reality. At the 2025 DNC chair election over the weekend, they decided that an interfaith prayer to God was just too old-fashioned. Instead, a woman in a clerical collar took the stage to lead the crowd in a new-age cosmic energy ritual—because apparently, asking for God’s guidance was a little too controversial for today’s Democrats.

“May the endless boundless energy of the universe wrap around you with awe, and love, and well-becoming,” she declared, closing with a bizarre mix of Amen, Ashe, and Ameen. If that sounds more like something you’d hear at a San Francisco yoga retreat than a political convention, well… welcome to the modern Democratic Party.

This was not well received by conservatives, Christians, or anyone with even a passing familiarity with America’s religious heritage. Some called it “demonic,” others simply called it a joke. Former West Virginia State Rep. Derrick Evans didn’t hold back, and Post Millennial editor-in-chief Libby Emmons pointed out the glaring issue with this whole “boundless energy” nonsense—if that’s what’s wrapping around you, it’s not going to bring you “awe and love,” but chaos and destruction.

Now, let’s be clear: This wasn’t some fringe gathering. This was the official election of the Democratic National Committee’s leadership. This is the party that wants to run the country, and they’re out here treating the “universe” like some kind of divine ATM, dispensing positive vibes instead of, you know, wisdom, morality, or actual leadership.

And let’s take a look at who they did elect. The winner of the chair position was Ken Martin, a longtime Democrat operative from Minnesota. But perhaps even more revealing? Gun control activist David Hogg, all of 24 years old, landed a vice chair position. That’s right—the guy who built his career on attacking the Second Amendment is now one of the leading voices of the Democratic Party.

So, let’s take stock of what just happened here. Instead of appealing to faith, morality, or any of the principles that have guided this nation for generations, the Democrats kicked off their leadership election with a prayer to a mystical, undefined cosmic force. And instead of elevating leaders with real experience, they put a radical gun control activist in a position of power.
