Nigerian Brothers Hired By Jussie Smollett Finally Break Silence

The pair of Nigerian brothers who claim to have been paid by actor Jusie Smollett to act out a staged attack against him back in January 2019, engendered an explosive outcry from those on the political Left — which included both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden — are finally opening up to speak about the incident and its repercussions for the first time.

Smollett, a former star of the show “Empire” that paid a total of $3,500 to Olabinjo and Abimbola Osundairo, has never openly admitted that the assault against him — which he has claimed was carried out by a group of white supremacists —  was actually just a hoax. The pair of brothers stated that the attack was actually just a hoax in the wake of their spending time in jail for close to two days. Smollett ended up being convicted of a total of five felony counts of disorderly conduct back in December 2021. However, in March of 2022, he was issued a sentence of 150 days in county jail, but only wound up sitting for a total of six days in a cell in the wake of an appeal.

“The police did ask us what Jussie’s motive was, but Jussie did not really tell me a motive,” explained Abimbola to representatives of Fox Nation. “[But] from what he was speaking about, or talking about, I would say what he wanted to accomplish was to increase his star level.”

The comments were issued as part of an interview carried out for the creation of a documentary on Fox Nation titled “Jussie Smollett: Anatomy of a Hoax.”

“He wanted to be the poster child for activism,” explained Olabinjo, before Abimbola went on to add, “That’s what I wanted to say. He wanted to be the hero for gay people, for black people,” expressed a report from The Daily Mail.

“I thought he was a good actor, but I also thought this guy was a fraud,” explained Abimbola, making reference to the attitude exhibited by Smollett throughout interviews in the wake of the incident. “This guy is really just sitting here, lying to these people. Lying through his teeth, and not caring. … I did feel betrayed by Jussie and what he had done. I didn’t know what to do — I wasn’t ready to say anything. Like, I was mute. And I didn’t want to say anything.”

“Insane. That’s when I really saw a different side of Jussie,” he stated. “Like, dude, really? This is when I knew that this dude was like a supervillain.”

When the interviewer questioned the pair about if they were “believable white supremacists,” Abimbola burst into laughter. “One hundred percent! Look at me!” he exclaimed.

Abimbola made the claim that Smollett would ask him to “help him procure or get weed, and different types of paraphernalia. … He would ask me to do it because he’s not from Chicago, and he wanted to keep a lower profile. … He did not want to get the drug dealer’s number – he wanted me to be the middleman and to get the drugs for him.”

At that time, the hoax involving Smollett was quickly snatched up as a primary talking point by major Democrats, such as Biden.

Biden stated on social media, “What happened today to @JussieSmollett must never be tolerated in this country. We must stand up and demand that we no longer give this hate safe harbor; that homophobia and racism have no place on our streets or in our hearts. We are with you, Jussie.” Harris labeled the incident as just a “modern-day lynching.”
