Trump Announces He’s Made A Change

In a defiant and resolute announcement, former President Donald Trump declared on Sunday that he has reversed his decision to delay his travel plans for the 2024 Republican National Convention following a shocking assassination attempt at a political rally in Pennsylvania.

The former president was shot at by a man who had donated to far-left causes but fortunately survived the attack.

“Based on yesterday’s terrible events, I was going to delay my trip to Wisconsin and The Republican National Convention by two days, but have just decided that I cannot allow a ‘shooter,’ or potential assassin, to force change to scheduling, or anything else,” Trump posted on social media. “Therefore, I will be leaving for Milwaukee, as scheduled, at 3:30 P.M. TODAY. Thank you! DJT.” Moments later, he added a rallying cry: “UNITE AMERICA!”

Trump is scheduled to speak in Milwaukee on Thursday, the final day of the convention, where he is expected to reveal his vice presidential pick, a closely guarded secret until the event.

Earlier in the day, Trump expressed his gratitude and faith, stating that “it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening.”

He called for resilience and defiance in the face of wickedness, sending love and prayers to the other victims and their families affected by the attack.

We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness,” he said. “Our love goes out to the other victims and their families. We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed.”

Trump emphasized the importance of unity in this moment, urging Americans to show their true character by remaining strong and determined.

“It is more important than ever that we stand United and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win,” he said. “I truly love our Country, and love you all, and look forward to speaking to our Great Nation this week from Wisconsin.”
