Perhaps the most eyebrow-raising moment came when Biden alluded to wanting to punch former President Donald Trump, who is also the presumed GOP presidential nominee for 2024. This type of violent rhetoric is concerning, especially for a president who should be promoting unity and civility.
Despite these alarming slip-ups and gaffes, Biden’s team continues to downplay them and spin his appearances in a positive light.
