Dean Obeidallah, a well-known Far-Left radio host that appears often on MSNBC, stated this week that he was attempting to “take action” to “strip” Elon Musk, the New CEO of Twitter, of his U.S. citizenship.
“As a lawyer Im going to do research to see if @elonmusk in any way lied on his application for US citizenship,” exclaimed Obeidallah. “I’ll be making a FOIA request for his immigration application. If he lied anywhere on application we will move to strip him of US citizenship. Stay tuned.”
“I formally made a request via FOIA today for Elon Musk’s immigration application documents,” he went on. “I will let you know what I hear back. The application may be 100% fine with no misinformation or lies. Then again… We will see.”
The radio host made the insane claim that Musk was “trying to manipulate both [U.S. political] sides into violence.” “Reminder: Elon musk does NOT the love the USA,” he stated with absolutely zero evidence whatsoever. “He is using us to attack each other. Is Elon Putin funded? China funded? Unclear. But he’s anti-American.”
The result of these claims from Obeidallah was extreme mockery online for his insane ranting.

Obeidallah did eventually say that Musk would need to consent to such records being made public but then attempted to claim a conspiracy theory that Musk could be actively hiding something if he refused to agree.
“If he consents, I will share the file,” stated Obeidallah on social media. “If he refuses to consent then we must ask: What is Elon hiding?!”
Tatjana Pasalic, a known political commentator, openly mocked the radio host, stating, “People breathless about fascism on the reg openly promoting stripping @elonmusk of US citizenship because he disagrees with them. Amazing.”

“Rookie,” stated investigative journalist Chuck Ross via social media. “You’re not getting that s*** through FOIA.”
Rich Lowry, the editor of the National Review, stated, “They’ll want his birth certificate next.”
“If this doesn’t get Musk deported, nothing will,” mocked attorney Scott Greenfield.
Another attorney, Ari Cohn, chimed in, “It seems fitting that a dude who was suspended from practice for 12 years would write something this stupid and incompetent.”
