Internal Report Looks Good For Trump

An internal Trump campaign survey conducted following the recent presidential debate indicates a slight boost in support for former President Donald Trump, while Vice President Kamala Harris’s numbers remained unchanged.

The survey, overseen by prominent pollster Tony Fabrizio, surveyed likely voters across seven key swing states where the 2024 election will be decided.

The memo from the Trump campaign explained that despite the media framing the debate as a win for Harris, voters did not perceive it that way. In fact, Trump saw a 2-point increase in both ballot configurations used in the survey.

Before the debate, the race in these crucial states was deadlocked. However, post-debate, Trump pulled ahead of Harris by 2 points, 48% to 46%, when all candidates were included. In a head-to-head matchup, Trump’s lead expanded to 3 points, shifting from a 48-48 tie pre-debate to a 50-47 advantage.

The survey also accounted for other third-party and independent candidates, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Jill Stein, Cornel West, and Libertarian Chase Oliver. Even with these additional candidates in the mix, Harris’s numbers remained stagnant, while Trump saw modest gains.

The memo noted that Harris’s debate performance did little to sway target state voters, calling her remarks “empty platitudes.” Meanwhile, Trump’s performance seemed to resonate enough to tip the scales slightly in his favor, giving his campaign momentum in these critical battleground states.

With the race so close, even small shifts in voter sentiment could prove crucial in determining the outcome of the 2024 election.
