Monstrous Actor In Custody For Alleged Attack Against Woman

Actor Jonathan Majors was taken into custody this past weekend in the wake of a call to police forces in New York City had officers respond to an alleged domestic violence call.

“A preliminary investigation determined that a 33-year-old male was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old female,” explained the New York City Police Department in a release. “The victim informed police she was assaulted. Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition.”

The statement went on to explain that the actor has been arrested on a number of serious charges such as strangulation, assault, and harassment.

The team working for Majors released their own particularly peculiar statement quite quickly in which they claimed that the actor had “done nothing wrong.”

“We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up,” expressed the person heading up Majors’ team.

Majors, who has seen a spike in the rise of his career over the past year, is a star in two films that are currently still in theaters, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and “Creed III.” Both in addition to another indie film “Magazine Dreams,” which is slated to go public at some point later this year, Majors is also slated to take on an ever increasingly important role as one of the Marvel film and TV universe primary antagonists, Kang the Conquerer.

A report from TMZ stated that “unnamed law enforcement sources” told them that Majors and his girlfriend were caught up in a massive argument seen inside a taxi that night. The outlet also reported that Majors has been officially released from police custody in the wake of his recent arrest.
