President Donald Trump posted a stark warning on his Truth Social platform Sunday. He declared that France is burning while the country faces violent unrest.
The unrest began Saturday with mass protests across French cities. Breitbart News reported that some 800,000 left-wing protesters took to the streets. These crowds attacked buildings and clashed with police in major cities like Paris and Marseille.
Trump pointed directly at migration rules as the cause of the chaos. He wrote that immigration of people from an entirely different world has shattered the nation. Before it is too late, he called on French leaders to close your borders and take control.
His words echoed concerns raised by other American officials. Vice President JD Vance said Western liberals imported the third world in the name of diversity. He warned that Americans should pay attention to this future. Per Daily Wire, Vance noted that ignoring assimilation questions led directly to this madness.

The violence was not just words on a screen. In Paris, masked mobs threw paving stones and fireworks at police officers. Tommy Robinson, a British activist, shared a video showing a chimney being smashed off a roof. He wrote that there’ll be deaths, and it’s all on Macron.
Damage spread quickly from the capital to other regions. In Limoges, a police car was set ablaze by rioters outside the historic town hall. The roof collapsed and the bell tower came down. Per Daily Wire, the local prefect said two-thirds of the exterior was already gone.
In Marseille, crowds forced their way into City Hall. A bust of Marianne was knocked to the floor as they smashed a screen. To push back the rioters in Paris, water cannons and tear gas were deployed by Police. The situation escalated fast over just 48 hours.
French officials released numbers showing the scale of the arrests. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced 1,200 arrests late Saturday night. By Sunday, Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez raised that toll to 1,800.

I’ll reiterate, there’ll be deaths, and it’s all on Macron.

More than 500 police, gendarmes, and firefighters were hurt during the clashes. Nuñez said outrages were committed by far-left individuals targeting public buildings. They were later joined by delinquents who looted businesses in cities like Lyon and Bordeaux.
Some French leaders blamed specific political groups for the unrest. Jordan Bardella, president of the National Rally, called it a convergence of ultra-left terrorism and delinquent populations. Mayor Éric Ciotti of Nice said Islamo-leftism threatens the Republic.
President Emmanuel Macron faced sharp criticism for his actions during the crisis. Daily Wire reported he attended a Céline Dion concert on Friday night as the country headed toward violence. Critics on social media compared him to historical figures who ignored trouble until it was too late.
The protests claimed to be about the cost of living, but the scenes looked different. Breitbart noted the movement appears driven by protesters disrupting civil society. The government now faces the hard task of restoring order while the numbers of injured grow.
