Activist To Pursue Legal Action Against Rams Player Assisting Security As The Activist Tried To Storm The Field

This past Monday evening, one supposed fan who chose to storm the field at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, has officially filed a police report about Assault after he was tackled by a player for the Los Angeles Rams that was assisting officials responsible for security in their apprehension of the individual.

As reported by the Associated Press, the fan rushed to the Santa Clara Police Department directly after the game in order to try and file official charges after he was laid out by Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner. A source that was close to the activist stated to Fox News that he was wanting to take legal action against the players who were involved in stopping him and against the NFL.

Lt. Cuong Phan of the Santa Clara Police Department did confirm to quite a few outlets that this was still an ongoing investigation and due to that, any and all information concerning the case would be limited for some time.

The suspect was brandishing a device that spewed pink smoke all while he attempted to sprint across the field. Another suspect, a woman, also tried to make the run onto the field during the game but was entirely unsuccessful as she was quickly halted by stadium security.

The suspect sprinted from one side of the field to the other while he was being tailed by security guards. As the suspect turned toward the end zone, a pair of players from the Rams, which included Wagner, came off the sideline to help the guards stop the trespassing suspect.

Wagner is seen in the video taking down the suspect as members of security then quickly ran in to take control.

“We all know where Bobby’s intentions were, and I support Bobby Wagner,” stated Sean McKay, the head coach of the Rams, to gathered reporters on Wednesday. “That’s where I’m at with that. I don’t think anybody would disagree.”

Wagner stated that he could not focus on the issue anymore, and that it was now behind him.

“It’s behind me,” he explained. “Can’t really focus on it. I’m more concerned about the security guard that was hurt trying to chase him and the people that was … we don’t know what that is and you just gotta do what you gotta do.”

“You just never know,” he concluded. “You never know, like, people run on the field for no reason sometimes and again, I’m pretty sure it’s gonna keep happening, but you never know what that person got in they pocket, in they hands, whatever. Kind of like what I said after the game so, you know, there’s consequences for your actions.”
