As CNN Continues To Fire Far-Left Employees Dan Rather Speaks Out In Panic Mode

Dan Rather, a disgraced left-wing journalist, was heavily mocked online this past week after taking to social media to panic about CNN making the choice to cut some of its left-wing extremist voices from their network.

“What is going on at CNN? It’s a serious question,” stated Rather in a post. “There is a lot of speculation on directives and motives. What’s really going on? And is it being noticed by the audience?”

These posts from Rather happen just after CNN chose to part ways with  John Harwood, an extreme left-wing White House Correspondent, this past week in the wake of his issuing extremely hyper-partisan comments from the journalist, including one social media post in which Harwood claimed, “Biden’s assertion that Trump and extremist Republicans pose a threat to American democracy is, undeniably, true.”

This firing of Hardwood comes just a few short weeks in the wake of Brian Stetler, the former host of CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” who recorded the final episode of his show before leaving the network. Stelter’s leaving reportedly happened at the request of Chris Licht, the CNN chief who took over the network this past February in the wake of the resignation of Jeff Zucker. Licht has reportedly been pushing CNN to adopt a nonpartisan approach to the overall news coverage.

Rather’s social media posts were heavily mocked online, including by Jeff Charles, who stated, “Seeing lefties melt down over CNN’s pivot away from being a full-on propaganda mill for the Democratic Party is delicious.”

“Dan Rather thinks CNN has an audience,” expressed radio host Joe Pags Pagliarulo. “That’s cute, Dan.”

“Methinks Dan’s guest spots on said network have expired,” stated Joe Concha, a Fox News media analyst.

Rather’s social media post did get some scattered support online, including known leftist Ameshia Cross, who made the claim that CNN was “dying a shameful death.”

“They used to be a valid source,” she exclaimed. “I grew up on the network. Today I’m ashamed of what they’ve become. And this weird pivot Right attacking Biden’s speech is the nail in their coffin. With few exception they sound Fox lite w/o the Fox viewership.”

Rather was let go from CBS News back in 2004 due to making false claims that were issued about then-President George W. Bush’s National Guard service as part of an episode of “60 Minutes.”

“The fact is that basic journalistic steps were not carried out in a manner consistent with accurate and fair reporting, leading to countless misstatements and omissions in the reporting by 60 Minutes Wednesday and CBS News,” explained a panel set up by CBS News in a massive 224-page report about the episode.
