Jen Psaki States ‘They Will Lose’ Midterm Elections If Democrats Focus On Biden

This past Sunday, Jen Psaki, the former White House Press Secretary, spoke out and stated that if the Democratic Party continued on its current trend and let the soon-to-happen midterm elections be a referendum about President Joe Biden, they will most certainly lose wholesale.

Psaki, who recently made a move away from working with the White House to a new job working at MSNBC, made an appearance on the Sunday edition of the show “Meet the Press” — during which she expressed to anchor Chuck Todd that if the Democrats wanted to play their cards correctly, they would make it a point to keep their focal points on extremism, most importantly that within the Republican Party.

Toss kicked off the segment by highlighting an ad put out by the Democratic Party targeting Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake — which attempted to connect abortion rights and crime — and questioned whether Democrats were just trying far too hard to force the two issues to coincide.

“I’m not sure how this is either — really effective, or you’re trying to get the voter to take two issues and tie them together, you’re trying too hard, I don’t know,” Todd stated concerning the ad. “But an interesting response.”

“Look, I think that Democrats — if the election is about who is the most extreme, as we saw, you know, Kevin McCarthy touch on there with Marjorie Taylor Greene, I’ll say her name, sitting over his left side, then they’re going to win,” stated Psaki. “If it is a referendum on the president, they will lose.”

Psaki continued on to highlight a few primary issues — most notable of which was the economy and crime — and the states in which those prime issues could play a massive role in pushing people out to the polls.

“Crime is a huge vulnerability for Democrats,” Psaki went on to state. “I would say one of the biggest vulnerabilities. And if you look at Pennsylvania, for example, what’s been interesting to me is it’s always you follow the money, and where are people spending money. And in Pennsylvania, the Republicans have been spending millions of dollars on the air on crime ads against [Democrat John] Fetterman because that’s where they see his vulnerability.”

“So, yes, the economy is hanging over everything,” Psaki finished. “But you do have to look at state by state factors. And crime is a huge issue in the Pennsylvania race.”
