Two months after his arrest in Cyprus, new claims have emerged alleging U.S. law enforcement officials arranged a meeting with missing Biden family whistleblower Dr. Gal Luft – right before he went into hiding.
For months, House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) had sought to interview Luft as a potential witness to the Biden family’s alleged financial ties to CEFC China Energy Co.
On Thursday, allegations from a document by Miranda Devine confirmed the meeting between Luft and six U.S. authorities actually occurred. According to Luft, the meeting took place in March 2019 in Brussels. It included four FBI agents and two prosecutors from the Southern District of New York.
“I shared my information about the Biden family’s financial transactions with CEFC, including specific dollar figures,” Luft said in a video released Wednesday in the New York Post. “I also provided the name of Rob Walker, who later became known as Hunter Biden’s bagman.”
Walker was the middleman between CEFC and the Biden family, receiving a $3 million wire transfer from the Chinese firm in 2017. This same wire transfer also funneled $1.3 million to four members of the Biden family, including Hunter, James, and Hallie Biden.
So why did U.S. authorities allegedly arrange a meeting with Luft – only to cover it up?
“They knew very well I’m a credible witness and I have insider knowledge about the group and individuals that enriched the Biden family,” Luft said. “Why did the government dispatch to Europe so many people?”
One possibility could be that the FBI and the DOJ wanted to prevent Luft from testifying to Comer’s committee, thus shielding the Biden family from having to answer questions about their business dealings with the Chinese firm.
Moreover, an IRS whistleblower’s testimony claims that U.S. officials also prevented prosecutors from questioning Walker about a 2017 email chain mentioning “H” and “the big guy.” The purpose of the email was also unclear.
At this time, it’s hard to know the full story. As U.S. authorities remain tight-lipped about the case, only time will tell if reality aligns with these explosive allegations. While the story behind the meeting between Luft and authorities continues to unfold, one thing is certain – it’s one more case of corruption hiding right underneath our noses.
