Parental Revolt In Canada Forces Controversial Teacher Onto Paid Leave

The Canadian high school teacher that has been in the news for wearing an overly massive Z-cup prosthetic breasts to class has been officially placed on paid leave, as expressed in a recent report from The Toronto Sun.

A recent report made public by The New York Post published images of a person that the outlet claimed was Kayla Lemieux, the educator in question, pacing around outside of school hours decked out in normal jeans and a vest while not wearing the blond wig or the insane prosthetic breasts. Lemieux made the claim that the photos posted were actually just of someone else.

As of writing, Lemieux has been officially placed on paid leave. “While not currently on an active assignment, the teacher remains employed with the (Halton District School Board),” explained spokesperson Heather Francey in a statement to The Toronto Sun.

Parents have openly protested to members of the school board ever since the news first broke of the controversy, with one of the mothers, named Lynn, stating, “forms of identity and expression presented in the school environment [must] be scrutinized against the child’s safeguarding practices.”

A neighbor also expressed to the Post that Lemieux does not wear the trappings that go along with their stance at all times. “He wears prosthetic breasts extremely infrequently,” the neighbor explained. “He puts the breasts on to teach, occasionally when he goes for a walk or when the cops visit.”

The Post also pushed out an interview with Lemieux in which the teacher claimed to wear the controversial items all the time and accused the neighbors of outright lying.

Lemieux also stated that the breasts were actually “real” and not at all prosthetics.

“This is who I am. This is how I look. You’ve been talking to people in my building but what they’re telling you is harsh and untrue. I am always going out looking the way I am,” stated Lemieux, highlighting that to be “in transition,” not “a transgendered person” but instead “intersex.” The educator made the claim that the set of extremely oversized breasts is the product of an extremely rare medical condition labeled “gigantomastia,” which affects roughly 300 people across the world.

“I don’t think there’s any problem with how I have dressed. It’s the personal opinion of other people. I don’t think I have dressed unprofessionally,” stated the educator from Canada.

The school board originally defended their employee’s choice of clothing, which included extremely skin-tight shirts which put extreme emphasis on oversized breasts.

“We are aware of discussion on social media and in the media regarding Oakville Trafalgar High School,” explained a note sent out to parents after Lemieux first wound up in the news back in September 2022.

“We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate to our community that we are committed to establishing and maintaining a safe, caring, inclusive, equitable and welcoming learning and working environment for all students and staff.”
