Terror Attacks In Israel Leave Multiple Wounded

As of writing, at least three people have been found dead in the wake of attacks carried out in Israel this past Friday evening.

Terror groups managed to kill two women in a shooting attack that took place in the West Bank. Later that same evening, another terrorist in Tel Aviv slammed their car into the beachside boardwalk. The following day, a trio of rockets was fired out of Syria into Israel, however, no injuries were reported in the wake of their landing. These attacks all take place smack dab in the middle of the Easter Triduum, Passover, and Ramadan.

As reported in the Times of Israel, the Magen David Admon ambulance service was sent out to deal with a car accident that was reported from a highway situated near the northern Jordan Valley. When both IDF soldiers and medics finally made it to the scene, the car was found riddled with bullet holes. a pair of women were declared at the scene to be deceased, and another was critically injured by gunshot wounds to her upper body. The injured woman was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

The victims were identified as members of an  Israeli-British family known to be from the Efrat settlement in the West Bank, stated the mayor of Efrat: the pair of women ended up being sisters, aged 15 and 21, and their 48-year-old mother. The father of the family was traveling near them in a different car; he turned back after the attack and came out once the medics arrived at the scene of the shooting.

The shooting was labeled as a terrorist attack by members of the Israeli Defense Force and they went further to state that a manhunt was being carried out to find the gunman and any related suspects, who reportedly fled from the area of the shooting. Investigators claimed that the gunmen first fired shots at the car before it ran off the road onto the shoulder. Those responsible for the attack then opened fire once again. The car they were using quickly made a U-turn on the highway prior to fleeing the scene.

Later on Friday, one 35-year-old tourist from Italy was killed while seven others were wounded when another terrorist rammed a car into the boardwalk on the beaches near Tel Aviv. At close to 9:35 in the evening local time, the attacker drove south along the road near the beach promenade, before swerving into the lanes designated for bikes for roughly 100 meters, slamming into a group of eight people walking and bicycling prior to the car flipping over.

One police officer and a municipal range were the first to make it to the scene. Reportedly, the attack attempted to grab a rifle-like object, when the two officers opened fire and killed him. The object was later discovered to be a toy gun.

On Saturday, three rockets were shot out of Syria targeting Israeli territory. The IDF stated that the attacks did not cause significant damage or any casualties. Only a single rocket actually managed to cross the border and it landed in the area of Golan Heights.
