Videos From Multiple Angles Come To Light About Recent Armed Heist In New York City

A series of videos started to make the rounds online this past weekend that highlighted an insane armed heist that took place out in New York City in which a group of criminals allegedly made off with tens of thousands of dollars from someone attempting to drive away from them.

As reported by the New York Post, the group of criminals allegedly stole well over $20,000 from the driver of one Toyota Rav4 as part of a robbery that boldly happened in broad daylight.

Circulating video of the robbery shows a Rav4 driving along when an unmarked black Mercedes slams into the car from the side, spinning the small SUV around on the road. The SUV then pulled up onto the sidewalk with the offending car hot on its heels before ultimately getting pressed against the curb.

Once they came to a stop, one man lept out of the side of the Mercedes with a gun in hand in order to start pounding on the side of the SUV. The driver of the SUV left the car and put his hands up as the gun-toting suspect from the Mercedes sprinted around to the driver’s side of the car, climbed into the vehicle, and then sprinted back after grabbing a black bag from the Rav4.

The man loaded back up into the Mercedes which then proceeded to speed off to t get away from the scene of the crime as fast as it could.

One of these videos portrays the entire incident unfolding in real-time from a close-by street-level view.

Another one shows the event near its end from a vantage point a few stories above the road.

A picture highlight in the New York Post showed that officials with law enforcement discovered the offending black Mercedes ditched on the street a short while later.

Officials with the New York Police Department’s (NYPD) 19th Precinct claimed that the crime took place on 2nd Avenue, East 91st Street to East 92nd Street on the Upper East Side.

The NYPD asked the public to report any and all information they could about the incident to the NYPD as detectives attempted to gather evidence to build a case.
