A group of Environmental protesters, who were seeking to force the decarbonization of the German automotive industry, chose to glue themselves to the floor of the Autostadt museum’s Porsche Pavilion out in Wolfsburg, Germany.
All promptly before they started complaining that they had no place in which to poop.
“Together with 15 other members of @ScientistRebel1 I have occupied the Porsche pavillion at @Autostadt, 9 of us glued to the floor and some of us on hunger strike until our demands to decarbonise the German transport sector are met,” exclaimed self-labeled “experimental economist” Gianluca Grimalda via social media.

“VW told us that they supported our right to protest, but they refused our request to provide us with a bowl to urinate and defecate in a decent manner while we are glued, and have turned off the heating. People in support can’t get out of the building,” he tweeted in protest.

“Current actions and plans are grossly inadequate, and even these obligations are not being met. The rate of environmental destruction closely tracks economic growth, which leads to us extracting more resources from Earth than are regenerated,” expressed Scientist Rebel via its website, crying out for a “degrowth of economies” and assuring that living standards would not be altered as the more wealthy of the population will be made to foot the bill.
“Governments and corporations aim to increase growth and profits, inevitably accelerating the destruction of life on Earth,” exclaims the group via their website.
“To achieve decarbonisation on the required scale demands economic degrowth, at least in the short term,” it went on. “This does not necessarily require a reduction in living standards. For a just transition, the cost of degrowth must be paid for by the wealthiest, who have benefited enormously from the current destructive world order, while others have faced the consequences. A just transition to a sustainable system requires the wealth from the 1% to be used for the common benefit.”
The entire ordeal proved to be quite the field day for conservatives that used social media to heavily mock the protesters.
“Perhaps you should have thought of bringing your pisspot before you glued yourself to the floor, you blithering idiot,” expressed Ben Shapiro of Daily Wire.

“They have taken the Bridge and the Second Hall. We have barred the gates, but cannot hold them for long. The ground shakes… Drums. Drums in the deep. We cannot get out. A Shadow moves in the dark… We cannot get out… They are coming,” chimed in Noah Blum.
